Q: Which NIIMBOT printers, print completely fade-resistant labels?
A: NIIMBOT B18 / N1
This model usesĀ thermal-transferĀ printing (i.e., a ribbon that transfers ink to the label) rather than ordinary direct thermal. The printed
content can lastĀ 8-10 yearsĀ (and is oil-proof, waterproof, resistant to wear and extreme temperatures).Ā
NIIMBOT M2_H / M3
A higher resolution variant (300 dpi) ensures that printed content can lastĀ 8-10 yearsĀ (and is oil-proof, waterproof, resistant to wear and extreme temperatures).
Q: Are the labels waterproof?
A: Yes. They are made of a high quality and resilient material. They do not lose their adhesiveness and are also tear-proof.
However, the ink does fade overtime, with repeated exposure to warm/hot water. For completely fade-resistant options, try any of the following printers: NIIMBOT B18 / N1, NIIMBOT M2_H or M3.
Q: Can I design and customize labels using my NIIMBOT printer?
A: Yes, you can design and customize labels using the free Niimbot design app, which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The app offers multiple templates and allows you to create labels with text, barcodes, QR codes, images, and more.
