This model uses thermal-transfer printing (i.e., a ribbon that transfers ink to the label) rather than ordinary direct thermal. The printed
content can last 8-10 years (and is oil-proof, waterproof, resistant to wear and extreme temperatures).
NIIMBOT M2_H / M3
A higher resolution variant (300 dpi) ensures that printed content can last 8-10 years (and is oil-proof, waterproof, resistant to wear and extreme temperatures).
Q: Are the labels waterproof?
A: Yes. They are made of a high quality and resilient material. They do not lose their adhesiveness and are also tear-proof.
However, the ink does fade overtime, with repeated exposure to warm/hot water. For completely fade-resistant options, try any of the following printers: NIIMBOT B18 / N1, NIIMBOT M2_H or M3.
